- 1). Choose a flavor of ice cream, such as vanilla, chocolate or strawberry, that you want your pumpkin to resemble. Spray paint your pumpkin the corresponding color. Allow the spray paint to dry according to the instructions on the bottle.
- 2). Cut a hole in the top of a curly-haired wig that is the same color as the spray paint. Pull the wig half way over the pumpkin to replicate the bottom of a scoop of ice cream.
- 3). Cut multi-colored confetti into small pieces that look like sprinkles. Glue the confetti onto the pumpkin and wig.
- 4). Spray paint your planter brown or tan to resemble the color of a sugar or plain cone. Allow the spray paint to dry. Draw diagonal lines on the planter that cross, using a hue of acrylic paint or a permanent marker that is a bit lighter than the spray paint used on the planter. This adds detail to the planter so that it resembles a cone.
- 5). Place the pumpkin into the planter so that the top of the pumpkin sticks out of the planter. Arrange the wig so that it drapes over the top of the planter.
