- 1). Insert three AAA batteries into the battery compartment of your Acurite clock. Install the batteries as indicated on the door of the battery compartment to ensure that you have observed the correct polarity.
- 2). Press and hold the "Select" button to enter the clock's setup mode.
- 3). Use the "Up" and "Down" arrow buttons to set the correct year when prompted. Press the "Select" button to confirm and save the change.
- 4). Adjust the month with the "Up" and "Down" arrow buttons. Press the "Select" button when the correct month is displayed.
- 5). Set the day of the month with the "Up" and "Down" arrow buttons. Press the "Select" button when the date on the clock is set as desired.
- 6). Set your clock to the correct current time. Adjust the hour using the "Up" and "Down" arrow buttons and press "Select." Use the same process to set the minutes and press "Select."
- 7). Select the appropriate time zone for your atomic clock. Scroll through your choices with the "Up" and "Down" arrow buttons. Press "Select" when the correct time zone is displayed.
- 8). Set the automatic Daylight Savings Time feature by using the arrow buttons to turn the feature "On" and press "Select." Press the "Select" button a second time to exit the clock's setup mode.
