India Is No Longer a Poor or Emerging Nation

In one fell stroke with a few well-chosen and well-spoken words, Rahul Gandhi achieved for India what no other person in any developing country could even hope to achieve: He has eradicated poverty from India! The Crown Prince of the second most populous country in the world has declared: "Poverty is a state of mind".
Who would have imagined that no poverty really existed? That it was all only in the minds of people? That no one is really poor in India? That all studies by all national and international bodies were just imaginary tales? That the indices to measure poverty were just mithya.
The Great Indian Hope, Rahul Gandhi, has proved himself to be even more capable than anyone could have ever hoped for.
He has practically hit a sixer in the very first ball he ever faced in his political life.
What an achiever he is! Maybe after all, Rahul Gandhi is truly a spiritual messiah who has completely understood and imbibed the ancient belief: Sab maya hai.
His understanding of the basic truth of the transitionary nature of life as told by Krishna in the Gita is that of Arjun sitting right at God's feet drinking in the truth is probably on the same level as ancient rishis doing tapasya for many, many decades to realise the ultimate truths of life.
Jokes apart, this is probably the most clueless statement made by Rahul Gandhi in a career strewn with ill-informed and ridiculous observations.
He is so far removed from any realities of India, he could well be in another city, country or planet.
Is this seriously the person that Indian National Congress sees as the Prime Minister of India? Agreed that India had monarchies and servility to kings and their families is embedded in the DNA, but Jawaharlal Nehru's lineage is not, most definitely not royalty.
There are plenty of royal families still existing, but the crown and halo bestowed on this family is unfathomable and, as proved resoundingly over 66 years of independence, undeserved.
The onus now lies with the votary to ensure that this servility is not perpetuated further.
Indian National Congress, on its part, is too busy bending over backwards trying to gain favour and build vote banks by seeding communal hatred and distrust within the society; by creating minorities and smaller and smaller groups; to ever be able to even think of the people of India.
