Would you be willing to share your faith in Jesus and His message of hope if someone asked you? If you're like me, you aren't comfortable just walking up to someone you hardly know and saying: "Do you know Jesus?" I would share my faith if that same person asked me about Jesus directly, but I probably wouldn't make the first move.
I do know something that can get the conversation started.
Did you know that the average Christian t-shirt is seen/read by 3,000 people.
Even a simple piece of jewelry baring a cross can present a witness opportunity.
At least twice last week, I had the opportunity to tell a co-worker about what God can do if we would only listen.
About finding Him in the small things.
Like driving around a crowded parking lot in a rainstorm and you just happen to get a space next to the door.
Or worrying you won't have enough money to pay the bills and suddenly an unexpected $500 check shows up in the mail! God always hears us, even when we don't ask out loud.
He knows our hearts and our minds and our worries because we are his children.
If it hadn't been for the question about that cross around my neck, I might never have had the chance to plant that seed.
Everyday that God gives us breath, is an opportunity to share His message of hope.
So grab that Christian t-shirt, put on that cross or buy one for a friend.
Get out there and tell the world about God's Grace...
