Caswells Shooting Range is in an air-conditioned way to enjoy safe shooting indoors. Caswells employs strict rules for safety that all shooters must abide by at all times. Review this guide for a preliminary overview of the gun safety procedure at Caswells. - This is a $50 introductory safety class offered by Caswells at the Mesa facility. This class is recommended for beginners with negligible gun experience. The class covers handgun safety, different kinds of guns, ammunition types and loading/unloading safety techniques. This course introduces the learner to live fire exercises. The class code is P100. You are not required to bring any equipment, but you must purchase 50 rounds of ammunition upon arrival.
- This class, code P200, combines gun safety and accuracy. Recommended for beginners and intermediate shooters, the fundamentals class covers grip, gun operation, stance and sight rules. A major focus for this class is trigger control.
- These rules should always be remembered. The National Rifle Association safety rules begin with maintaining that your weapons is pointed in a safe direction at all times. Additionally, the NRA reminds us to keep fingers off the trigger until ready to shoot. Finally, keep the weapon unloaded until ready to begin using. By following these general rules, you will be ready to set foot on the range at Caswells.
