- 1). Download the Apple iTunes software (see Resources) and install it to your computer's desktop. Restart your computer, if prompted, to complete the installation process. Click on the iTunes software icon on your computer's desktop to open the program.
- 2). Click on the tab titled "iTunes Store" underneath the sub-header "Store" on the left side of the screen. Input the name of the movie that you wish to download for your iPod into the "Search Field" at the top right corner of the screen and press "Enter."
- 3). Click on the name of the movie that you wish to download and select either "Buy Movie" for the standard-definition version or "Buy HD Movie" for the high-definition version. Input your password, if prompted, to complete your movie purchase and wait as the file is downloaded onto your PC computer's hard drive.
- 4). Insert your USB dock connector cable into the bottom of your iPod and connect it to an available USB port on your computer. Wait as the iTunes software recognizes your iPod. Press the "Sync" button at the lower right portion of the screen and wait as your movie file is copied onto your iPod's internal memory. Disconnect the iPod from the computer when the transfer process is complete and enjoy watching your favorite movie on your iPod.
