But if you are blogging to drive people to a website to join a business or buy a product then the purpose of you blog should be to establish yourself as a leader and build a relationship with your readers.
Establishing yourself as a leader online and a person that knows what they are talking about is very simple.
As long as you are continuously studying and learning new marketing strategies you will have plenty to write about.
All you do is every time you learn something new, write about it.
This will establish you as a marketing expert in the eyes of your readers.
Now to make money blogging you also want to build a relationship with your audience because if they know you and trust you, then they are more likely to buy from you or purchase something you recommend.
So once or maybe twice a week you want to write about something that happened in your personal life, like a vacation or a birthday party.
Also you should be blogging everyday because if you are using keywords that are searched, Google will start ranking you blog posts.
So the more you write the more traffic you get.
You also want to take the URL of your blog posts and submit them to social bookmarking sites.
This will drive ever more people to your blog.
Then last but not least at the end of each post you can make a offer with a link to drive readers to whatever website you would like.
