- 1). Remove the eight grommets securing the interior trim panel to the door with a slotted screwdriver.
- 2). Peel off the deflecting water shield.
- 3). Remove the screws from the door handle module with a Phillips screwdriver.
- 4). Disconnect the handle lock rod from the lock mechanism.
- 5). Insert a screwdriver between the glass and the door and press down on the top of the lock cylinder to release the handle from the door.
- 6). Remove the screws securing the handle and remove the handle from the door. Attach a replacement handle and reinstall the handle's screws.
- 7). Reconnect the handle to the lock cylinder.
- 8). Reattach the handle lock rod to the lock mechanism and reinstall the screws to secure the door handle module to the door.
- 9). Reattach the deflecting water shield and the interior trim panel.
