- 1). Ensure that the gas is turned on to your stove at your motor home's shutoff valve if you have a gas-powered stove.
- 2). Push the knob inward for the burner you wish to turn on.
- 3). Turn the knob counterclockwise to the "Lite" setting. Some versions may say "On" instead of "Lite." If you have an electric stove, turn the knob to the heat temperature you desire.
- 4). Light a match and hold it up to the burner ports until the burner ignites. If you have a "Spark" ignition, locate and rotate the "Spark" knob in a clockwise direction until the burner ignites.

- 2). Open the oven's door and locate the pilot at the bottom of the center of the oven's interior.
- 3). Push in and turn the "Oven" knob to "Pilot," then light the pilot with a match. Turn the "Oven" knob to the desired cooking temperature if you have an electric oven.
- 4). Turn the "Oven" knob to the desired temperature once the pilot is lit.
