- 1). Go to Mozilla's website and click the green "Download" button. (See Resources)
- 2). Open the "Firefox.exe" file to begin the installation. If the installer appears and says you do not have permission, right-click the file and click "Run as administrator."
- 3). Select "Standard" installation. Firefox asks whether you wish to use the browser as your default browser. The option is automatically checked, so if you do, click "Next." If you do not, uncheck the option and click "Next." The program begins installing.
- 4). Double-click the "Firefox" icon to begin browsing with Firefox. The icon looks like an orange fox wrapped around a blue globe and should appear on your desktop after installation. When you start the browser, you have the option to transfer your favorites list from Internet Explorer to Firefox.
