- 1). Install a third party application to translate your Lotus Notes messages from .nsf format to a format that can be used by Outlook Express. Examples of conversion utilities that can be used for this task are provided in the Resources.
- 2). Run the third party Lotus Notes application by double-clicking the program icon on your computer's desktop. After the program main menu appears, choose the applicable menu option to select the location of your Lotus Notes ".nsf" file using the program's file chooser.
- 3). Choose the EML format for the export file format of the Lotus Notes translation file, followed by choosing the destination drive to save the converted Lotus Notes file using the program's file chooser.
- 4). Open Outlook Express on your computer by double-clicking the program icon on your computer's desktop. Choose the "File" menu followed by the "Import" menu option.
- 5). Select the "Mesages" menu option and choose the .eml file exported using the Lotus Notes export utility. Choose the "default" menu options followed by the "Finish" menu button to complete the Lotus Notes messages import into Outlook Express.
