If you'll recall after 9/11, the government moved very fast to protect the American people from international terrorists like Al Qaeda.
The first thing they did was to secure all the federal buildings, in order to protect the American people.
But may I ask how on earth that helps the American people? Securing federal buildings, protecting people who do paperwork, and often cause excessive regulations to small businesses and the corporations which provide all the jobs for Americans, how does that help protect my family? The governments number one job is to protect the American people, but they seem to be busy protecting themselves for some reason, I'd like to know why, and I'd like to know why I have to pay for it? Because as it stands the United States government is funded with taxpayer's money, and when they spend money they don't have, all the taxpayers are obligated for it later.
Protecting federal buildings does not protect my family, the shopping malls they shop in, the schools that they go to, or the border which is protecting our country from a Third World nation next door.
If you and ask the Department of Homeland Security why they do this, they have an excellent answer; they say that they must protect the themselves otherwise all is lost? They say that they must protect themselves, so they can protect us? But the reality is they are not protecting us, if they were protecting us 9/11 wouldn't have happened.
If they were protecting us, our borders would be secure.
The reality is they are protecting themselves, using our money.
Does that mean we all have to go get a job with the government in order to be protected? What kind of hypocrisy is this? Since when has your government actually protected you, they are too busy protecting themselves against you, just in case you've had enough or in case a group of citizens take it upon themselves to rebel.
The reality is that the government's "number one job" is to protect the American people, that's provided for in the Constitution, that is the first thing they must do before they do anything else.
It seems these days with all of our left-leaning socialist tendencies, and all the government leaders' focus that they are busy spending our money on all kinds of social pet projects, without satisfying their first obligation to protect us.
So let me ask you again; why does our government always protect itself first when they think there is a terrorist threat? And, how does that help the American people? Just answer the question.
Please, I'd like to hear a good explanation.
And don't put me on a watch list for asking it, for God's sake just answer the question.
