- 1). Unplug the Braun shaver from the charging unit. Ensure the device is turned off.
- 2). Slide the lock button on the bottom of the razor to the left. This will loosen the cover of the housing unit.
- 3). Slide the housing unit cover downward. When it no longer slides any farther, lift it off the razor for removal.
- 4). Use something flat, such as a flat head screwdriver or a butter knife to pop the nickel-hydride cell or NiMH battery out of place.
- 5). Place a new nickel-hydride cell or NiMH battery into place.
- 6). Slide the housing cover unit back into place.
- 7). Slide the lock button on the bottom of the razor to the right to lock the cover of the housing unit into place.
- 8). Place the razor on the charging unit and allow the new battery to charge overnight before using.
