Tweety came to us through Petsmart Petfinders. I had recently lost my Sammy, and Aragorn was very lonely without any playmates. I was specifically looking for a cat, not a kitten, as Aragorn could play a bit rough and felt a cat closer to his age would be better. Tweety had a rough start, he had been "returned" twice. It took 6-8 weeks before he felt comfortable with all of us, but he and Aragorn became inseparable.

Once I knew he was comfortable with us, I wanted to give him his furever home name. He didn't take to what I was planning, but one day I looked at him and asked if he liked Tweety, because he chirps more than meows, and he looked at me. He now answers to Tweety quite readily, even when not food related!

Tweety was very lost when Aragorn made his way to the Rainbow Bridge, but soon transferred his affections to Chandler Ray. He now has a younger brother, Toby, so he has the best of all worlds. Chandler Ray to snuggle with and Toby to run around with!

While Tweety isn't much for laps or snuggling with humans, he does let me know when he wants attention. He gently puts his paw on me for pets, and he is the clock watcher. He knows when it's time to eat and comes to let me know!
