- 1). Turn the cover clockwise until the locking pins line up with the clear vapor collector, then lift it off the pressure cooker.
- 2). Place your food inside the cooking pot, making sure to add at least one cup of liquid to the pot.
- 3). Place the cover back on the pressure cooker and turn counter-clockwise until it stops turning to lock it into place.
- 4). Plug the pressure cooker into a power outlet.
- 5). Choose one of the preset cooking programs by pressing one of the buttons on the unit. Alternatively, use the timer button to set the amount of time you wish to cook your food.
- 6). Turn the pressure release valve one half turn into its the lowest position.
- 7). Release the steam when the pressure cooker beeps three times to indicate that the cooking is done. Press "Cancel" then turn the pressure release valve one half turn to the uppermost position to release the steam.
