It was the morning of September 11, 2001, I had just gotten off work and on my way home.
I normally sit on the bus until it take me to a connection bus.
For some reason or another (I say the Holy Spirit) I got off the bus and was walking towards the connection bus.
Now I tell you that this was at about six o'clock am on a dark morning before the dawn and the sunrise.
As I was walking, I looked down the street, appeared before me was a very dark cloud, and it was moving like the air, behind it was a very bright light.
At first I could not believe what I saw, and then I thought by human means, they must be shooting a movie on the next block over.
To my surprise the cloud or mist kept moving as I was moving, I mean when I cross the street the cloud or mist crossed too.
Now there are buildings along the street with locked gates, no one can get threw.
However, this dark cloud or mist kept getting through, and every step I made it made.
Then I stop.
It stop.
Then I ask if you are from Jesus make yourself fly into the sky over to the left of me.
And it did.
I was so afraid, because I only fear Jesus.
Then it disappeared.
When I got home, I washed clothes and by the time I got finish on the TV was a special report about the Twins Towers in New York being hit by airplanes.
What a warning.
I live in Chicago, the news here says that Chicago was targeted also.
The Lord is Faithful to his word.
He said he will always protect you.
I wanted to know what did all this mean.
So I searched the Vine's dictionary for warning and it gave me two words: Noutheteo meaning to put in mind, warn, is translated to warn.
Also Hupodeiknumi which means primarily to show secretly, to show, to teach, make known/warn.
The Bible give us many examples of warnings.
Look at Hebrews 8:5 it says They serve at a sanctuary that is a copy and shadow of what is in heaven.
This is why Moses was warned when he was about to build the tabernacle: See to it that you make every thing according to the pattern shown you on the mountain.
Also in Hebrews 11:7 it says By faith Noah, when warned about things not yet seen, in holy fear built an ark to save his family.
By faith he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness that comes by faith.
And again in Hebrews 12:25 it says See to it that you do not refuse him who speaks.
If they did not escape when they refuse him who warned them on earth, how much less will we, if we turn away from him who warns us from heaven? From this warning, the Lord protected me, the whole city and surrounding areas.
Look what the Bible says about protection.
In the Book of Psalms 32:7 says You are my hiding place; you will protect me from trouble and surround me with songs of deliverance.
Selah.
I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you and watch over you.
Do not be like the horse or the mule, which have no understanding but must be controlled by bit and bridle or they will not come to you.
Many are the woes of the wicked, but the Lord's unfailing love surrounds the man who trusts in him.
Rejoice in the Lord and be glad, you righteous; sing, all you who are upright in heart! In the Book of Proverbs in Chapter two it speaks about Moral Benefits of Wisdom it says at 2:6 For the Lord gives wisdom, and from his mouth come knowledge and understanding.
He holds victory in store for the upright, he is a shield to those whose walk is blameless, for he guards the course of the just and protects the way of his faithful ones.
Then you will understand what is right and just and fair-every good path.
For wisdom will enter your heart, and knowledge will be pleasant to your soul.
Discretion will protect you, and understanding will guard you.
When Jesus was praying for his disciples look at what he said in John 17:11 it says I will remain in the world no longer, but they are still in the world, and I am coming to you.
Holy Father, protect them by the power of you name-the name you gave me-so that they may be one as we are one.
What a Blessing to be warn and protect by Jesus Christ, and by the power of his name.
I looked further and found in the Vine's dictionary the word Zophos under the meaning black or blackness, and it says especially gloom of the regions of the lost.
So I wanted a better understand of the word lost.
The Vines's dictionary has two meaning one Apollumi signifies to destroy, destroy utterly kill.
And also Zemioo means to damage, to suffer loss, forfeit, lose.
Well from this experience I can truly say that Jesus Christ was my protector and because of His grace and mercy He gave me a warning, and His word is true, honest and just.
Yes, I love Him and Thank Him.
In closing the Book of Psalms have a Psalms for giving thanks.
It says at Psalms 100 Shout for joy to the Lord and all the earth.
Worship the Lord with gladness; come before him with joyful songs.
Know that the Lord is God.
It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, the sheep of his pasture.
Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name.
For the Lord is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations.
Look what it says in the Book of 2Corinthians 2:14 it says But thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumphal processions in Christ and through us spreads everywhere the fragrance of knowledge of him.
For we are to God the aroma of Christ among those who are being saved and those who are perishing.
Now in the Book of 1Thessalonians 5:18 it says Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.
I will forever give thanks, and bow down to Jesus Christ.
He is forever the King of kings and Lord of lords and His word is true.
