- 1). Go to your "Text Message" icon on your mobile phone and open it.
- 2). Scroll through the names of people in your address book with your text message section until you see the person's name you are sending a message to.
- 3). Click on that person's name. Depending on your mobile phone, it may ask you if you want to "call" or send a "message." Click "send a message." The next screen will load with a message box with the person's name above it.
- 4). Type in your text message. Read over it before sending and press "send" when complete. Your message should arrive to the recipient's mobile phone within 5 minutes, depending on your carrier.
