- 1). Open your Internet browser and navigate to the service provider's website (such as AT&T or Verizon).
- 2). Type in your telephone number and password (set up when you activated the account) to log onto your service information.
- 3). Select the "My Services" feature (do note the exact wording may differ slightly, depending on who provides you with mobile service). Here you can look over all the options you have on your mobile phone, upgrade a service package or remove features you don't use.
- 4). Select the "Data" feature, than look over your data information. Deselect your "Text Messaging" package (you may have an option stating "I no longer want to add this feature").
- 5). Click "Next" to approve your wireless change. The text messaging service is now removed from your next month's mobile bill.
