David Wroblewski's Background:
Wroblewski grew up on a farm from the age of three, although his parents only cared for livestock for two years. His mother eventually used the barn to raise dogs. The farm was his inspiration for the setting of The Story of Edgar Sawtelle.
Wroblewski currently lives in Colorado.
David Wroblewski's Education:
Wroblewski attended the University of Wisconsin, where he started by studying theater, but switched to computer science.
Later, he earned a Masters of Fine Arts from the Warren Wilson Program for Writers.
David Wroblewski's Hobbies:
Wroblewski is a black & white photographer. He has one dog and one cat.
David Wroblewski's Writing:
Wroblewski's debut novel, The Story of Edgar Sawtelle, was published in June 2008. Oprah Winfrey chose it for her Book Club in September 2008.
