Matthew’s doctors don’t give a great prognoses and let Bo and Nora go in to see him. Destiny breaks down as they wheel him back to his room. Meanwhile Nate freaks out and looks to Deana for guidance and support. Dani begins to get curious about Nate’s concern with Matt. Nate tells Dani to be with Dest at the hospital. While Nora and Bo are in Matt’s room telling them they love him, Matthew flat lines.
The doctor tells them Matt has lost all brain activity. Dani and Dest can’t understand how this had happened. Nate decides to go find out how Matthew is and see Dani and Destiny embracing. Back at the Buenos Dias, Rex and Gigi wonder why Clint has confessed. Rex goes to visit Natalie but stops in to visit his father. Viki lets Clint know that Tess is at St. Ann’s. Joe tells his father that he confronted Aubrey and Clint tells him that Cutter is the new owner to the Buchanan Mansion. Joe wishes he can be like Clint and go after him with his shotgun but, Clint tells him not to become like him. After Joey leaves Rex rips into Clint and demands to know why he never came forward about telling everyone he’s his son. Rex tells his father that he’ll never be like him and just when he says that Clint flat lines.
Tess is put in a straight jacket and locked up in a padded cell. Viki begs the guards to see her daughter. Tess doesn’t listen to Viki’s lecturing and instead reminds Viki of everything Charlie did to her and how she’s all alone.
Viki thinks Tess has feelings for Ford , which Tess denies and says he’s only after Ryder. Viki tells Tess that she’s a part of Jess and that she loves her, but Tess is resilient to let Jess back out. After Viki leaves Tess vows to go after Cutter and imagines seeing Ford in the room with her. Ford overhears Gigi and Shain’s conversation about how seeing a doctor won’t solve his problems about returning to school. Ford tells Shain that he used to be picked on as well, until he started working out and became tougher. Ford offers to work out with him and lifts Shain’s spirits. Gigi thanks Ford and tells him that Ryder is very lucky to have him as a father.
Aubrey tells Rama that she confessed to Joey. Rama is relieved to find out that Aubrey used Ryder as a bargaining chip. Cutter surprises Aubrey and Rama when he appears out of nowhere. Cutter tells them that he’s made a deal with Clint and wants Aubrey back. Aubrey turns him down, stating she loves Joey. Aubrey tells Cutter she’s told Joey everything. Joe arrives and Cutter and he get into a physical fight. After Rama pulls them apart, Cutter announces that the mansion is his and wants them out.
