- 1). Write down the girl's measurements for her bust, waist and hips. If you have the measurements in centimeters, convert them to inches by multiplying by 0.394 and then rounding up or down to the nearest 0.5 inch (for example 90 centimeters multiplied by 0.394 is 35.46; round up to 35.5 inches).
- 2). Check the measurements against a Women's Size Standards chart (available online), for example on the USATourist website. Write down the USA standard size for bust, waist and hips. For example, if the bust size is 38 inches, the clothing size is 12.
- 3). Remember that a girl may wear different sizes for different garments, for example she may be a size 6 bust (tops) and size 8 hips (skirts and pants).
