- 1). Cut two pieces of wood measuring 11 inches by 12 inches. These pieces form the top and bottom panels of the subwoofer box.
- 2). Cut four pieces measuring 12 inches by 12 inches for the front, back, and side panels.
- 3). On one of the 12-by-12 pieces, cut an opening for the subwoofer. Use the size of the subwoofer as a template and place the hole in the center of the panel.
- 4). Drill a hole in the back panel near the bottom edge of the piece.
- 1). Attach the top, bottom, and side panels. Screw the panels together with the 1 1/2-inch wood screws, spacing the screws every two or three inches.
- 2). Screw the front and back panels onto the box, using 1 1/2-inch wood screws, also spaced every two or three inches.
- 3). Slide the speaker wire into the box through the hole in the back panel. Attach the speaker "wire leads" to the subwoofer.
- 4). Fit the subwoofer in the opening on the front of the box, then screw it in place with half-inch wood screws.
