- 1). Turn the ignition key to the "On" position (position II).
- 2). Press either the "Lock" or "Unlock" button on the remote. The remote you're using does not need be a programmed remote. You must do this within five seconds, or the programming will not be successful
- 3). Turn the ignition to the "Lock" position (position 0).
- 4). Repeat Steps 1 through 3 two more times with the same remote.
- 5). Turn the ignition switch to "On."
- 6). Press either the "Lock" or "Unlock" button on the remote. The car's computer will lock and unlock the power locks if you've successfully entered the programming mode.
- 7). Press the "Lock" or "Unlock" button of every remote that you want to program. Keep pressing until you get the confirmation from the computer in the form of another power lock cycle. Once you hear it, you can move on to repeat Step 7 with the next remote.
- 8). Turn the key to the "Lock" position to exit the programming mode.
- 1). Turn the ignition key to the "On" position.
- 2). Press the "Valet" button on the radio, located between the "AM/FM" and "CD/Tape" buttons.
- 3). Press any button on each remote you want to program for a maximum of five remotes. Do this within 20 seconds of pressing the radio button.
- 4). Turn the ignition key off to exit the programming mode.
