- 1). Search online to find McDonald's wireless connectivity locations worldwide. You can start by going to McDonald's website to find a map of their free wifi hotspot restaurants. Click on the banner or tab that says free wi-fi McDonalds wireless connection. Select your country, then enter a zip code or city and state.
- 2). While sitting inside the McDonalds restaurant, turn on your laptop, wifi enabled cell phone, or other wireless device. You will be directed to a web page to select the free wifi connection - Wayport_Access. If your laptop is an older model that is not wi-fi enabled, you will need to have a wi-fi card; this can be purchased at any computer electronics store.
- 3). Once you have selected the Wayport_Access network name, open your internet explorer or other web browser. You will see the
Wayport welcome webpage, you are now connected to free wifi at McDonalds.
