Sometimes the client will make choices that you don't agree with.
I spent several weeks designing a Web page with CSS, no tables and following the latest agency standards. It was fully Section 508 accessible. The site looked the same under various user agents including older versions. The code and CSS was validated.
The other designed was table-based and used scripts. It would not pass Section 508 standards and contained outdated and other invalid code. It is so bad, that under some browsers, the text overlaps! The colors are not good for folks who are color-blind.
The team leader selected a non-accessible, table-based design looks different under various user agents. The site looks like it was designed 5 years ago.
The customer is always right, but sometimes you don't always agree with their choices.
