- 1). Use a broom and dustpan to sweep the laundry room. Washing machines get a lot of dust and dirt around them, so start off with a clean area.
- 2). Maneuver the Frigidaire washing machine into its place in the washing room. Make sure that the supply connections on the top right hand side of the back panel are close to the water supply valves and the drainpipe in your washing room.
- 3). Connect the supply hoses to the water connections on the top right hand side of the washer. There will be spigots for “hot” and “cold.” Connect the “hot” water hose to the “hot” water supply line valve in your laundry room. The hot water supply line valve will be labeled “hot” on the top of the valve. The "hot" water line will be the connection on the right side of the washing machine.
- 4). Tighten the hoses as tight as you can. Use a pair of channel locks or pliers to make sure that the hose connections will not leak on the spigots or supply lines.
- 5). Connect the “cold” water hose to the “cold” water supply line valve in your laundry room. The cold water supply line valve will be labeled “cold” on the top of the valve. The cold water connection will be on the left side of the washing machine.
- 6). Level the washer. Place two levels on the Frigidaire's top panel. One should be going across the panel and one should be going up the panel so they form an "L" together.
- 7). Look to the levels and make the appropriate adjustments to the Frigidaire's feet on the bottom of the unit. Insert a screwdriver into the groove on the feet. Turn the feet to the right to raise the unit; turn them to the left to lower the unit. Do this until the bubble in the level is dead center in the level's tubes.
- 8). Plug the washing machine’s power cord into the wall outlet in your laundry room.
