- 1). Place four wood pallets side by side in the shape of a square on a level piece of ground.
- 2). Place the first layer of posts horizontally on top of the pallets. Space them as evenly as possible at least 3 inches apart.
- 3). Place the second layer of posts across the first layer. Maintain the same spacing as the first layer. When properly placed, the posts will form a grid when viewed from above.
- 4). Continue stacking posts in alternating directions until you complete the stack.
