- 1). Press the "Home" button on the iPhone and slide your finger across the bottom to unlock it.
- 2). Open the "Settings" application and touch "General."
- 3). Touch "Keyboard" and toggle the "Auto-Correction" switch to "OFF" by touching it. You can also remove auto-capitalization and turn the caps lock on or off by doing the same thing.
- 4). Press the "Home" button once again. The intelligent keyboard will be turned off and only the characters you type will show up in your text fields.
