In this article we are going to talk about one of my favorite topics - how to get paid to blog.
I'm going to be totally honest with you here, getting paid to write, like I do every day, feels a whole lot like STEALING money.
Why? It's actually quite simple: Making money from a blog is easy, it's enjoyable and it's the only way I know of to make a living from home while watching Law and Order reruns all day.
(I've tried doing it from an office job, and after a while they get upset) So what are some easy ways to turn your prose, or passion into powerful profits? - Build Review Style Blogs: This remains one of my favorite blogging techniques, and while lots of people are aware of this strategy, most don't do it very well.
Why are review style sites so easy to build? Very simple.
Most of your content is going to be either user generated, or vendor provided.
I don't say, or do anything unethical either, (as in fabricating a personal story, or reviewing products I've never tried) and still have an easy time getting hyper targeted traffic that converts like crazy.
- Incorporate a traditional direct response marketing model.
This is actually my preferred method of blogging in just about every niche we play in, as you are actually using the blog to capture free search engine traffic, as well as collecting and building an opt in list, that you'll follow up with.
The blog simply acts as the place that you can interact, share and informally "sell" your visitors, and list members on the different programs that are directly related to the reason they signed up in the first place.
This is super effective, and for me, a ton of fun to boot!
