I found out about this campground by word-of-mouth, and I tent camped there in May 2010.
Describe your camping trip:
This campground has the potential to be really nice, but it seems the owners are just happy to make a buck and not put any work into it. The bathrooms are filthy and need repair with plumbing. The beach needs to be tilled up and maybe some newer sand. It's really beat up looking.
They didn't bother mowing any of the lawn in the camping areas, so you were walking around in 8 inches or more of grass, which made mosquitoes and bugs horrible. Playground area is overgrown and severly outdated. The garbage was always overflowed and smelled bad.
Pros: It has great upside, if they would clean it up and maintain the grounds a little.
Cons: A lot.

Further comments: I will not be going back unless there's new ownership that cares about the place or the current owners stick some money in to fix it up.
