- 1). Power on the iPhone and swipe your finger across the bottom of the phone to unlock the keypad.
- 2). Press the "Settings" icon and select "General" from the Settings menu once it loads up.
- 3). Wait for the screen to change, then press the "About" tab to bring up additional options.
- 4). Scroll through the available selections and look at the "Version." This is the current installed firmware on your Apple iPhone. To find the baseband version of the firmware on your phone, continue to scroll down and look next to "Modern Firmware."
