- 1). Press the power button until your Samsung SGH-A727 powers off.
- 2). Place your thumb on the horizontal lines on the back of the A727 and slide the battery cover off of the phone. Lift the battery out of the compartment.
- 3). Use your fingers or a pair of tweezers to slide the AT&T SIM card out of the slot. Slide another company's SIM card into the slot, with the gold contacts facing down and the cutaway corner facing into the slot.
- 4). Put the battery and the battery cover back into place. Turn the A727 back on.
- 5). Note the SIM card error display when the phone powers on. Press the "OK" button. Enter the SIM unlock code into the field provided. Press the "OK" button again.
