4. Choose a reliable blog host: Blogger and Wordpress are reliable but I wouldn't trust mybestfreereliablebloghost.com or something like that.

5. If buying a domain buy a .com(dotcom):
"Friend: What is the name of your website?
Me: Well mywebsite.net .
When the friend wants to visit my website he will more likely type mywebsite.com rather than mywebsite.net ."

You will loose traffic if you don't register a dotcom.

6. Use holidays to drive more traffic to your blog: If it's Christmas organize a Christmas competition or sellout. Trust me this will double or triple your traffic.

7. The last and best tip: Link exchange is always useful:
First find a site similar to yours in topic. Then link to it.
After that contact (email) the webmaster/owner of the site and ask him that can he link back. Once you've got 10-15 links to your site then you will get stable traffic.
Example: You've got 10 sites linking to you. You get 50 visitors from each site every day. WOW thats 500 pageviews per day and you are only using links.
