- An Honor Naval School, Admiral Farragut Academy (AFA) observes the traditions of the U.S. Navy. Emphasizing structure, self-discipline, respect and honor, AFA students rise in the morning to a bugle call for room inspections. Located in Saint Petersburg, Florida, AFA also offers its student body easy access to beaches and water activities, including sailing. AFA's high school has 230 students from grades 9 to 12.
- The Marine Military Academy (MMA) in Harlingen, Texas, is a college preparatory military school for young men in grades 8 to 12. The only private school in the world based on the traditions of the U.S. Marine Corps, the students at MMA learn within a structured military environment. MMA graduates enter top colleges and universities as well as join branches of the military.
- New York Military Academy (NYMA) in Cornwall-on-Hudson, New York, is a college preparatory school for day and boarding students in grades 7 to 12. Affiliated with the U.S. Army, at NYMA, the acquisition of life and leadership skills is emphasized. Graduates commonly attend The U.S. Military Academy at West Point, The U.S. Air Force Academy and The U.S. Naval Academy. NYMA cadets often earn four-year Reserve Officers' Training Corps (ROTC) college scholarships.
- New Mexico Military Institute's high school includes cadets from over 42 different states. Located in Roswell, New Mexico, it is the largest Army ROTC two-year commissioning program in the country. The cadets at New Mexico Military Institute follow a strict honor system within a highly formal academic environment. Cadets who do not play on a varsity team participate in weekly intramural activities. There are a number of clubs as well available for cadets to join.
