Host a Sleepover

• Host a sleepover and invite friends from school or neighborhood buddies. You do not need much entertainment; just stay up all night, pop popcorn and watch videos. If you like to perform, hold a dancing or singing contest. Do not fall asleep first, or you may be the target of a silly prank like getting shaving cream sprayed on you. Take pictures of the silly antics, since this could be a sleepover to remember.
  
  

Birthday Party

• If you have the space, plan a party at your home. Decide the type of party, such as a pool party or backyard cookout. The party does not need to be elaborate, as just a few close friends and family will do for the guest list. Planning a theme party adds an extra element of creativity. If your birthday is near a holiday, feel free to incorporate a holiday theme, for instance using red, white and blue decorations for a July birthday.
  
  

Movie and Dinner

• If you've been waiting for a movie that's just been released, make a birthday celebration out of going to see it. Having a few friends tag along makes the celebration even more special. After the movie, head to your favorite restaurant. If your server knows you are the birthday guest, you may receive an extra treat like a free dessert while everyone sings "Happy Birthday."
  
  

Visit an Amusement Park

• If you like adventure, visiting an amusement park may make the perfect birthday outing. Spend your day soaring through the sky on the tallest roller coasters or stuffing yourself with hot dogs and cotton candy. If there is a water park section, do not forget your bathing suit and sunscreen. A visit to the amusement park provides a thrilling, though exhausting, birthday.
  
  

Party Campout

• Turn your backyard into a campground and host a camping party. Pitch tents, roast s'mores and tell ghost stories around the campfire or fire pit. Entertain guests with a scavenger hunt and prizes for the winners. A sleeping-bag race is sure to bring on laughs. Climate factors may come into play, however, depending on the time of year.
