- 1). Type your invitation details in Microsoft Word. Be sure to include the date, time and location of your event, as well as any other information your guests should know. To personalize your invitation, choose your favorite font style and color.
- 2). Click "Print" and select "2 Pages" or "4 Pages" under "Pages Per Sheet." If you choose "2 Pages," the invitation you typed will be printed twice on one page, making each the size of a piece of paper folded in half. If you choose "4 Pages," your invitation will be printed four times on one page, making them a quarter of the size of a piece of paper.
- 3). Select the appropriate number in the "Number of Copies" box.
- 4). Place invitation cardstock in your printer then press "Print."
- 5). Cut out your invitations.
- 6). Create Elmo's head. Place a round tracer on a piece of red felt and draw around it; then use your scissors to cut out the circle.
- 7). Create Elmo's face. Cut out a small teardrop shape from dark-yellow cardstock to form his nose. Use craft glue to glue his nose in the middle of his head (pointy side up), about three-quarters of the way up. Cut out a half circle from black cardstock to form his mouth. Use craft glue to attach his mouth to the bottom of his head, flat side up. Glue two googly eyes near the top of Elmo's head; glue them close together, with the pointy side of Elmo's nose in between the eyes.
- 8). Glue Elmo's body to the front of the invitation using craft glue. Line up the flat side of the half-oval with the bottom of the card.
- 9). Glue Elmo's head to the top of his body, slightly overlapping the top of the oval.
