- 1). Place dryer sheets in your drawers. One sheet in each drawer should suffice, but the ingredients on your dryer sheet box must include oleander, which is a natural repellent that deters mice.
- 2). Keep crumbs out of drawers. Often in kitchen areas where snacks are stored, crumbs get left behind. The mice feed off of these crumbs, which is what keeps them coming back to the drawer time after time. If needed, remove the drawers and tap off into the trash can or vacuum out the drawers.
- 3). Crush peppermint and place into sachets or bowls and place in your drawers. The strong smell of the peppermint is a natural mouse repellent, and about 1 tbsp. of crushed peppermint in each drawer should suffice.
