- 1). Unwrap your curtains. Your pearls should have a rigid installation bracket attached to the top edge of the curtain. These brackets can vary from metal channels to plastic strips, depending on the manufacturer.
- 2). Position the rigid bracket on the wall, ceiling, window or doorway where the curtain will be installed. The bottom row of pearls should touch the floor or windowsill evenly. If you mount them too high, the bottom will look awkward. If you are mounting them in conjunction with other drapes, they should match the bottom hem of the drapes.
- 3). Mark the locations of your mounting holes in the bracket. Screw wall anchors into drywall where no stud is available. Screw your screws into wall anchors or studs using a screwdriver.
