- 1). Eat your apple and harvest the seeds.
- 2). Place the apple seeds in a container with some moist peat. Seal the container's lid and place the container in the refrigerator for six weeks.
- 3). Remove the container.
- 4). Punch small holes in the bottom of the foam cups.
- 5). Fill the cups with seed-starting soil.
- 6). Plant the apple seeds about one-half inch below the surface of the soil and water them gently. Each seed should be in an individual cup.
- 7). Place the cups on a sunny windowsill and water them when the soil becomes dry.
- 8). Transplant the seedlings to pots as they outgrow the cups. They will usually have two or more leaf levels at this point.
- 9). Transplant the seedlings outside when they outgrow the pots.

Water your apple tree during hot and dry weather.
