This picture of Corey Clark was taken during a photo shoot for "American Idol" on March 8, 2003, in North Hollywood, California. Not long afterward Clark was disqualified from the show for failing to disclose his arrest record to the show's producers.
Two years after Clark left the program he made allegations in his E-book, "They Told Me to Tell the Truth, So...: The Sex, Lies and Paulatics of One of America's Idols," that "Idol" judge Paula Abdul had mentored him during his time on the show and that their relationship turned sexual.
Abdul denied the allegations.
All of this exposure did not seem to help Clark stay on the right side of the law as his criminal record indicates:

Sued for passing a $50 bad check to a Topeka grocery store. - June 2005
Cited on a misdemeanor battery charge after getting into a food fight with his record company manager in a hotel room. - June 2006
Monica Rodriguez Gonzalez, Clark's wife and mother of their child, Yeshua, filed for a domestic violence protective order. - July 2006
Clark was arrested on suspicion of violating a court order and trespassing at his wife's stepfather's residence in Yuma, Arizona. - July 2007
Clark was arrested in North Little Rock, Arkansas for possession of a controlled substance and for an outstanding warrant from Arizona. - October 2007
Clark plead guilty under a plea agreement to charges of felony aggravated harassment involving domestic violence for the trespassing offense.
