Remember that if you have a 10 day listing and you start campaigning from October 15th, it only leaves you about eight listing cycles. Plan accordingly to ensure you catch your consumers at the right time.

You can't make the most of the holiday buying rush without ample stock! Speak to your suppliers well in advance so you can be sure you have plenty of stock in hand. Don't start selling until you've got your stock. At the same time, don't buy too much stock either. Moving unsold stock is always a headache but moving unsold holiday stock can often be more difficult.

No matter what your niche market is, the best products to sell during the holidays are holiday products. If you deal in coffee mugs, stock up on some mugs with festive designs. Even mugs with winter scenery or snowflakes will move faster during the holidays! Apart from thinking about the holidays itself, try to make sure your products are perfect for the ‘giving' season!

The holidays mean that people will be stocking up on presents of different kinds. These could be anything from special gifts for family and friends to small presents to give to colleagues and neighbours. Try to find gift items that are linked to your niche and who wants to buy them. Pens, cute trinkets and fridge magnets can be small but popular gifting ideas.

Make it Easy

Apart from finding the right products on eBay, it's also important to make the buying process a little easier on the consumer. For instance, consider offering free shipping on certain items. It can also help to offer faster payment options as well. If you don't use PayPal, include it as one of your payment options during the holiday season.

Whether you're offering free shipping or not, make sure that you state your shipping policy very clearly. With holiday gifts, it's not just about the gift. People also want the gifts to be delivered on time. No matter what your shipping policy is, stick to it and keep your promises.
Don't forget to change your eBay pages to make them a little more festive! This might seem like a small matter but it can be a nice, holiday touch for any buyer. Source your products from suppliers listed on sites like esources and kick-start your holiday campaign early to make it a success!
