- 1). Click the "Start" menu on your desktop.
- 2). Type "appwiz.cpl" into the "Start Search" box.
- 3). Click the "appwiz.cpl" icon that opens under the "Programs" menu.
- 4). Right-click the "Windows Internet Explorer 7" icon.
- 5). Select "Uninstall."
- 6). Click "Continue." Your computer will now remove Internet Explorer 7.
