- 1). Navigate to the Social Security Administration website to open and print the Social Security Administration Application for a Social Security Card.
- 2). Complete the Application for a Social Security Card in blue or black ink.
- 3). Place your completed application and your proof of identification in an envelope and mail to any Kansas Social Security office. Proof of identity includes your U.S. driver's license, state identification card, U.S. passport, Certificate of Citizenship, Certificate of Naturalization or Consular Report of Birth. Your card will be mailed to the address listed on your application within seven to 14 business days.
- 1). Visit the Kansas Social Security office near you and complete an Application for a Social Security Card.
- 2). Provide your application to a Social Security representative, along with your proof of identification. Proof of identity includes your U.S. driver's license, state-issued identification card, U.S. passport, Certificate of Citizenship, Certificate of Naturalization or Consular Report of Birth.
- 3). Wait for your card to be sent to you by postal mail. Your card will be mailed to the address listed on your application within seven to 14 business days.
