- 1). Open the door and remove the poppets from around the edge of the door panel. There should be 8-10 poppets on the door and they can be pried off with a slotted screwdriver.
- 2). Pull the trim panel off of the door, but do not remove it just yet. Have another person come and disconnect the electrical connectors between the door and the trim panel. There should be three electrical connectors: one for the window regulator, one for the door lock mechanism, and one for the speaker in the lower corner of the door.
- 3). Pull the trim panel off of the door.
- 4). Remove the three bolts and nuts securing the old mirror to the door. Disconnect the mirror's electrical connection and remove the old mirror. Place the new mirror onto the door and connect the electrical connection to the mirror. Reinstall the three bolts and nuts to secure the mirror.
- 5). Reattach the electrical connectors to the door and reattach the trim panel. Reinstall the poppets and close the door.
