- 1). Power off the Nokia 6126 and take out the battery. Look at the back of your phone. You will see four screws on each side. Remove all of them.
- 2). Use a flat-head screwdriver to release the four clips from the phone. There are two clips on each side of the phone.
- 3). Slide the clips off the Nokia 6126 to totally unlock them. This will let you disassemble the phone.
- 4). Lift the faceplate of the Nokia 6126 from the circuit. Remove the keypad as well.
- 5). Put the new faceplate on the Nokia 6126. Press it gently to secure it in place. You should hear the clips lock.
- 6). Replace the keypad you removed earlier. Make sure each key has a contact with its corresponding button.
- 7). Put the casing back together and insert the screws. Replace the battery and turn on the Nokia 6126.
