- 1). Pry open the access door on the front of the washer to access the filter.
- 2). Lay two towels in front of the access door, and set a bowl under the washer's pump.
- 3). Pull the spout on the pump and turn the filter counterclockwise to remove it from the washer.
- 4). Pull the filter out slowly to allow a steady stream of water to flow from the pump into the bowl.
- 5). Wash the filter under warm, running water. Reinsert the filter in the pump, turning it clockwise to tighten.
- 6). Push the spout back into place. Push the access door into place on the washer to close the door.
