- The New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts offers a three-year theater training program that focuses on acting for theater, film and television. In addition to taking acting courses, students can take advantage of living in New York City and intern with local casting directors, agents, producers and theater companies. Graduates of the program have the option to enroll at the University of Northern Colorado or Adelphi University in New York and complete their bachelor's degree.
- Located in Chicago, Illinois, The Conservatory at Act One Studios offers a two-year acting certificate program. The curriculum within the program focuses on acting, voice and speech, movement and improvisation. Chicago is home to almost 300 theater companies, and the program invites numerous theater professionals to direct and conduct guest seminars. In order to prepare for a career upon graduation, students are given opportunities to network, take audition courses, obtain head shots and develop a business plan.
- The American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Los Angeles offers a two-year conservatory program. In addition to acting, voice and movement, students in the program have an opportunity to study camera techniques, Shakespeare, one-person shows, musical theater and dialects. The Los Angeles campus features acting studios, rehearsal spaces, camera technique studios and a costume and prop shop. A library is also available on campus that includes a screening room, a collection of scripts, musical scores and other reference materials.
- The American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco, California, offers an master of fine arts in acting. The actors in the program work as an ensemble and have opportunities to develop their own work and learn about the production, creation, marketing and performing of a show. During the first two years of the program, students work on smaller studio productions but during the third year they perform full-scale productions in the Zeum Theater.
