Frozen Chicken in Crock Pot
PREPARE your slow cooker. Turn your crock pot on low, and put in 3 to 4 pieces of frozen chicken breasts. Yes, I said frozen. The chicken tends to fall apart better later. Run frozen chicken under cool water, and then place chicken rub onto the chicken. Pour in half a bottle of BBQ sauce (I use Kraft). Add ground black pepper to taste. Set Crock pot on low, and check back about 5 hours later. - 2
Slow Cook the Chicken
STIR chicken, and add the rest of the BBQ sauce. Turn Crock pot on high for the last 2 to 3 hours of cooking. You will notice that during these final few hours, the chicken will keep falling apart. - 3
SERVE Dinner. Once the chicken is fully shredded, serve it on buns with slaw or your favorite side. Another easy dinner with little effort.
