- 1). Turn off the ignition and place the Challenger in park (automatic transmission) or first gear (manual transmission). Apply the parking brake.
- 2). Plug the heat gun into the wall and place it on its lowest setting. Point it at the ram emblem, approximately 10 inches away from the bumper.
- 3). Pull the trigger on the heat gun and warm the emblem very slightly, taking care not to overheat the bumper. This will loosen the adhesive used to affix the emblem to the bumper, allowing it to be removed safely.
- 4). Insert a plastic putty knife between the emblem and the bumper. Carefully pry the emblem away from the bumper until it is free.
- 5). Remove the remaining adhesive with mineral spirits and a clean shop rag.
