- 1). Connect your iPod to the computer using the iPod USB cable.
- 2). Go to My Computer, and locate the connected iPod (:E disk/drive). Double-click on the icon.
- 3). Right-click on each of the data folders in the device to change their settings. Here, you can select to keep folders and files hidden, and you can password lock them as well.
- 4). Change the folder preferences on your computer to hide hidden folders and files to prevent this from happening again. Your iPod files will now be hidden until you alter the settings.
